I advise on employee ownership (one of the most tax-efficient and commercially attractive ways for a business owner to realise the value, while preserving the culture, jobs and legacy they care about). I've spent nearly two decades advising owners on selling their businesses to Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs), with a combined transaction value exceeding £500 million.
My career has been centred on employee ownership throughout — spanning major commercial law firms, Big-4 accountancy and financial services. I've worked with businesses of all sizes, from owner-managed SMEs to PE-backed groups, across a wide range of sectors.
About the business
What sets my approach apart is finance-led legal advice. I start with a financial model of the transaction, and for each key decision, illustrate how that decision could play out over a range of timescales under different profit scenarios.
