By profession I am an Accountant (CIMA) though I have had most fun working in Operations. I was Logistics Manager for Siemens and Wincor Nixdorf. European Operations Manager for Hertz amongst other roles. In Finance I had senior roles in Unipart (Group Planning manager), Business Direct (FD) and Waitrose (Assistant FD) and other organisations. Numbers talk to me and tell me tales of things that are going wrong!
About the business
We act as Internal Procurement for our clients and save them money. We do this by looking at what they are paying, what they are buying and looking at alternative products/services or strategies. We do not charge for this service as we are looking for savings. Savings can come from future purchases, or historical overcharges. All savings are shared between the client and ourselves.
