2022 has been the best year ever for the OBCN community. We have the most businesses ever in membership. This year we’ve organised a greater number of events providing a choice for our members networking in Oxfordshire. Over the last 12 months we’ve seen our event attendance numbers grow again.
An exciting time for OBCN as we move forward into 2023, but there is one change!
Early in 2009, Mike Foster wanted something different for his networking. With the support of a handful of trusted contacts, he founded and led The Oxford Business Community Network (OBCN). Today after 14 years at the helm Mike has decided to step back from running the community at the end of the year.
Mike said “I’ve enjoyed every second of running the network, but for unforeseen personal reasons I have needed to hand over the reins to my trusted business partner Ben”
“It’s been an absolute buzz organising and hosting the events over the years and I am grateful for the support I’ve received to build the trusted community we have today.”
“Ben & I have worked together for two years growing the community and developing the networking opportunities. We came together due to our common desire to help others and an outlook of connecting people to create opportunities for our members. I know Ben is committed to continuing our work of creating a framework that allows each of our members to enjoy their networking in an environment where people truly buy people not just the label we represent.”

Mike’s final OBCN Big Business Breakfast will be on Friday 2nd December, when he will be saying a few farewell words.
